Real-world references

  • The Dino Patrol's summoning sequence and background music are based on the Morphin' Time sequence in Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. The background music continuingly plays as the Dino Patrol attack.
    • Coincidentally, Power Rangers have two series focused on Dino Rangers; Dino Thunder (premiered in 2004) and Dino Charge (premiered in 2015).
    • Also coincidentally, two Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers series regular actors, Johnny Yong Bosch and Paul Schrier will be contributing voices in Mighty Magiswords.
  • King Rexxtopher: Warriors, come out to PLAAAYYY!!
    • This is a direct quote from Luther in the film, The Warriors.
